Logging in as a Call Center Agent
Step 1: Go to https://portal.gigtel.com and log in with your username and password
Step 2: Click on the red OFFLINE button to switch to ONLINE.
Step 3: Your screen should show the OFLINE button turn from RED to GREEN and state ONLINE
**Remember to click on the green ONLINE button again at the end of the day to return to OFFLINE while you are out of the office.
If using the web phone from your PC:
Step 1: From the same user home page as above, select the Apps drop down in the upper right and click on Web Phone
Step 2: Once you have selected the web phone you will see a new window pop up that will be used to control your web phone. From here you will be able to answer calls and change your agent status as well.
Step 3: if you are using a headset, you will need to select that as your audio source inside of the web phone. From the main page of the web phone click on the three horizontal lines to open the menu
Step 4: From the menu page, select the settings option
Step 5: From the settings page you will be able to click on and edit what device is being used for your microphone and audio output devices
