Select Answer on the pop-up notification within the Microsoft Teams application.
Transferring Calls
Select Transfer while in a call
Calls can be transferred to another Teams user or to an extension.
If you want to transfer a call to another Teams user, enter their name in the search field and select the correct user from the list
You will be presented with a few options:
- Ring back if there's no answer (Ring back to you if there is no answer)
- Include a call topic for the recipient (Provide a topic of the call for the recipient of the transfer.)
Select the necessary options, and then choose Transfer to complete the action
(Note: If using a VDI then this may not be a reliable way of transferring and we recommend transferring to a user's extension. See below)
If you are transferring to a user or an external phone number, enter the extension or phone number, select the pop up, and then choose Transfer
Outbound Dialing
Select the Calls tab on the right-hand side to display the dial pad
To place a call, use the on screen dial pad or enter the number directly using your keyboard’s number pad and select Call
