Before you begin your TeamMate Enterprise, please make sure your users who will be utilizing TeamMate have the appropriate licenses in your Azure portal. Below is an example of the correct licenses as of 1/01/2026. All users must also have their Domestic Dial Plan, if they have one, disabled within Microsoft.
Note: It does take one of your licenses to create the link between GigTel and your Azure. Keep this in mind when buying licenses. All users will also need an email.
1. You will receive an email to complete your Enterprise setup like the one below. To continue select "Complete".
After you click complete, you should get the following Permissions requested page. Select Consent on behalf of your organization. Then select Accept.
You may have to select groups, just select all groups or the group the users will be I that will be getting the Teams Connection.
If you are also the Microsoft admin, you may have to hit accept on multiple pages as you are the one also granting permission.
Here is the link to login for future use. https://enterprise.connecttoteams.com/
2. Next, you need to grant consent so your Reseller can make changes for you in the future without you having to login and approve them. You May have more than one. This can be done in your Dashboard under Enterprise Admin Action Items.
3. After you have granted Consent, you will need to setup the direct routing.
Ensure you have the correct Microsoft Office licensing. You will need to have at least 1 available AND unassigned User license from the licenses provided in the beginning, to use Direct Routing. Available relevant licenses will be displayed on the Direct Routing page.
4. Under set up Direct Routing Details, select the desired Gateway. Paste the invitation code from the email.
5. Click the "Complete Direct Routing".
6. The "Verify Tenant" will pop up, this will verify the connection to the DNS Provider and will validate licenses.
7. Click "Complete Direct Routing" as soon as it is done with the verification.
Direct Routing provisioning will take a few minutes, refresh the page after 2-3 minutes to check progress.
If the direct routing process completes and the "Calling Enabled" indicator is still showing as red like the screenshot below, initiate the direct routing process by clicking on the “Finish” button on the right side of the Direct Routing page.
8. Once you have completed Direct Routing and granted consent for "Allow Management by Service Provider" you then can then grant consent for Microsoft Teams CDR. Your reseller should be able to complete the user setup the user for the Teams integration.
